iPECS UCP is Ericsson-LG Enterprise’s unified communications platform designed to meet SME and enterprise communications needs. And there are 3 models for your business size.(UCP100, UCP600, UCP2400)
 
As the most compelling advantage, unified communications services are embedded in iPECS UCP. Users can improve business efficiency and productivity with embedded UC features including real-time voice, video and presence enabled IM with messaging services(Visual Voice Mail and SMS etc.) under a single user interface on multiple devices without the need of an external server. Also, it is seamlessly expandable to provide advanced collaboration services(File sending, application sharing and multi-party video conference etc.) by simply adding an external server.
 
iPECS UCP provides multiple mobility solutions for internal and external mobile workers. Through a wide range of mobility solutions, users can improve productivity and decrease communication expenses. iPECS DECT and Wi-Fi phones provide feature rich and reliable communications for internal mobile workers. For external mobile workers, iPECS UCS mobile client delivers the power of a desktop phones to smartphones or tablet PCs. Also, Mobile Extension lets users place and receive business calls from their smart phone.
 
Embedded VoIP channels are one of the great advantages with iPECS UCP. In addition, iPECS UCP100/600 provide embedded VoIP relay(VoIP Switching) to provide more cost-effective VoIP channels.

 

Will it work with the NBN?

Yes.  These systems are built and designed to work with NBN technology.  All of the latest technology is built into these systems so it is fully future proofed and wont be out of date with emerging technology.

Is this a VOIP system or can i connect Telstra lines?

The system is fully VOIP/SIP capable, and supports up to 4 trunks/lines out of the box.  This means that it will be able to use the latest in technology for voice over ip and SIP and will be even better with an NBN connection to be able to support even more speed and bandwidth.  Many users stick with the traditional Telstra style lines.  The system comes as standard with no configuration for standard phone lines, however additional cards can be added to the main module to support phone lines with expansion modules if further lines required for standard or VOIP lines.

Another popular choice is to use a VOIP provider (we can provision all of this for you) to use cheap outgoing lines which offer advantages such as free calls to local/national/mobiles for a fixed monthly fee.

 

How many phones can i connect and can i add more?

The system comes in UCP100, 600 & 2400 models.  This allows for either your small systems up to 50 ports (mix of lines and phones) or up to 2400 ports for large scale enterprise deployments. The system is based around a licensing infrastructure where you pay for the licensing you need for the number of ports and the more advanced features such as networking multiple sites, connecting third party SIP extensions or increasing VOIP channels. 

 

Can i use cordless phones with the system?

Yes you can have a standard cordless phone or fax connected to this system.  By default out of the box it will support 2 before expansion is required.

 

There is so much to try and understand, does your company provide consultation and after sales support?

Of course.  There are so many questions whether it be Telstra or Optus related, about interfacing or connecting your lines to a new system or the call plans you are on.  We will explain how the system works and connects and provide you with all the information you need so that you make the right decision.  We only want to sell you a solution which will help your business grow and give you a return on your investment.  Its a great pleasure of ours to stay in touch with our customers to ensure their systems are meeting their needs and if they need to upgrade or maybe even making some cost savings, we can work out the best solution for you.

Yes, you can connect your Mobile phone, Tablet and computer

You can download an APP for your mobile phone which will connect to the phone system.  This means you can turn your mobile phone in a cordless phone and also if away from the office, use it remotely.  Going overseas?  Taking your tablet or laptop?  You can keep in touch with your colleagues back home with free calls, all you need is an internet connection.

If your working from home you can fire up the laptop and make some calls before going into the office as if your at your desk in your office.

The UCP systems comes free with 2 x UCP mobile APP's so you can install this APP onto 2 mobile smartphone devices for free.  This can be then used via WIFI or external anywhere.

Is the system expandable as my small business grows?

Yes it is.  As an example, the entry UCP100 will have 50 ports.  For example, if your business grows and you find that you need more phones and lines, you can unlock additional ports up to a maximum of 100 by paying a one off licensing fee.  If expansion happens and you need to upgrade to a larger scale model, you would keep all your phones and existing modules and just upgrade the main phone system single UCP module to the larger size model.

We will help and advise on the best way to upgrade or expand your system and ask the right questions when advising you on these system to make sure if you expect growth, you will have that room to grow at a cost effective rate.

Is it easy to use?

All LG products and systems have a similar "core" of programming and thought.  Why is this system so popular?  Its popular because it appeals to the public.  You dont have to be a brain surgeon to operate the system.  Want to transfer a call to the boss in his office?  Just press 1 button.  You dont need to press HOLD, you dont need to press TRANSFER, just press the button which says "boss".  The rest of use of this system follows a similar trend in ease of use.  On top of this we provide full training on all installs.
